In-8°(mm 188x155), Pagine [4], 47, [1], (testo in inglese e francese) 50 tavole fuori testo incise all'acquaforte (antiporta, frontespizio, ritratto e una tav., tutti di invenzione di Deuchar e le 46 tavv. della danza macabra da Holbein) di dimensioni al centro del foglio (mm 78x60). Legatura in mezza pelle coeva un poco lisa con piatti marmorizzati. Buone esemplare con belle incisioni.

David Deuchar, incisore di Edimburgo, attivo nella seconda metà del XVIII° secolo si specializzò nella riproduzione dei grandi maestri, adottando uno stile incisorio affine a quello dei maestri olandesi del Seicento da lui prediletti (van Ostade, Bega, ecc.).
